Dr. Jeff Werden was raised in Alvinston and is excited to start his practice in East Lambton surrounded by his friends and family. Dr. Werden has always had an interest in health care and began his studies at the University of Western Ontario where he successfully completed his Bachelor of Science with Honours Specialization in Kinesiology. At Western, Dr. Werden had a successful wrestling career as an All-Canadian and was captain of the varsity men's wrestling team. He was also awarded the prestigious Purple Blanket for outstanding contribution to Western Athletics as well as several other academic and athletics awards.
Dr. Werden continued his education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic. There, he also completed his Clinical Acupuncture certificate and is a proud member of the Acupuncture Council of Ontario.
Dr. Werden has over 10 years of chiropractic experience with clinical experience at St. John's Rehabilitation Centre in Toronto and in private practice working along side other health care providers in Petrolia and London.
When not at the office, Dr. Werden enjoys spending time with his wife Aida as well as watching and playing several sports especially hockey and baseball. Dr. Werden enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering his time coaching high school and club wrestling, as well as being a past member with the Rural Health Advisory Panel at Bluewater Health and the Alvinston and District Optimist Club.
Jamie is a registered massage therapist (RMT) and is a graduate from Fanshawe College in 2016. He is constantly expanding his knowledge, experience, and education in sport injury treatments. He also enjoys using his skills in Swedish Massage, Fascial Release, Cupping Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy and PNF stretching to maximize the benefits of treatment for his clients. Jamie is great at varying his pressure to suit the needs of his clients, and he likes to work with his clients to develop a personalized treatment plan.
Jamie is also a graduate of the Health and Fitness Promotion program at Fanshawe College. His knowledge in anatomy and remedial exercise give him the opportunity to provide the best home stretches as well as exercises to help maximize treatment ans self-care.
In his free time, Jamie enjoys playing hockey, golf and volleyball. He enjoys travelling to nearby cities to watch an NHL game involving the Montreal Canadians.
Maryellen Brown has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 1997 and is in good standing with the CMTO and a member of the RMTAO.
Maryellen takes a preventative and proactive approach to a healthy lifestyle by incorporating many modalities into her practice to create the best treatment plan for you. These modalities include but not limited to Myofascial Release-FullBody, Soft Tissue Release, Active Isolated Stretching, Advanced Sport Massage, Joint Mobilization, Ultrasound and TENS, hydrotherapy and Microcurrent Point Stimulation
Maryellen has treated both pro and amateur athletes, weekend warriors and clients with sensitive issues relating to their health. Her approach to health and treatment is given equally to everyone.
Maryellen is also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Yoga teacher with certificates in Cross Disciplinary yoga, Restorative yoga, Yogalates, Chair and Senior yoga, Yoga Shred and obtained her Masters in Holy Yoga.
Maryellen is an active member in her community and loves to volunteer her time to many charities and organizations.
